SDG&E is soliciting offers from owners and operators of Energy Efficiency (EE) programs, Demand Response (DR) programs, renewable generation resources, Energy Storage resources, and Distributed Generation (DG) resources to be installed, implemented and/or located in San Marcos, California. These resources are being sought to defer distribution projects that would otherwise have been completed. The RFO seeks single resources or integrated hybrid resource types (combinations of resource types) to meet the total required distribution capacity for three circuits: Circuit 597, Circuit 295, and Circuit 298. Respondents may offer utility-owned resources through Build, Own, Transfer (BOT) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracting approaches, or third-party owned/contracted resources. Minimum contract delivery term is 5 years with maximum contract term of 10 years. Specific on-line date requirements vary by circuit: Circuit 597 requires either June 1, 2018 or between January 1, 2019 and March 19, 2019 (with potential extensions through February 29, 2020); Circuits 295 and 298 require June 1, 2018.
