NV Energy is issuing a request for proposals to secure proposals to design, engineer, procure, deliver and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on ground-mount automobile parking structures at two locations: (1) Freedom Park Solar - 672.8 kilowatt direct current (kW DC) PV electric generating system with annual production of at least 1,086 megawatt-hours (MWh) AC located at Freedom Park at 3051 East Washington Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89101; (2) Moana Solar - 483.3 kW DC PV electric generating system with annual production of at least 848 MWh AC located at Moana Pool at 240 West Moana Lane, Reno, NV 89509. The project must be approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada and proposals must allow for a commercial operation date on or before December 31, 2023. NV Energy will evaluate proposals based on economic benefit to Nevada, job opportunities in Nevada, and best value to NV Energy's customers. Systems must be installed on commercial parking structures as described in the RFP Protocol Document.
