PSEG Long Island, as agent of and acting on behalf of LIPA, issued a request for proposals to acquire up to 345 MW of installed capacity electrically located in the New England Control Area that is eligible to qualify as Long Island Locational ICAP under NYISO Rules. The RFP is for capacity for two NYISO Capability Years: May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026 and May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. LIPA will accept proposals for either one or both NYISO Capability Years. The Contract Capacity may be provided by aggregating capacity from more than one generating resource. The Contract Capacity of each generating resource offered must be a minimum of 25 MW. Respondents must comply with all requirements outlined in the RFP including technical specifications, submission requirements, compliance certifications, and evaluation criteria.
