2025 APCo PSA, PPA, and REC RFPs
Appalachian Power (APCo) is acquiring up to 800 MW of wind, solar, and/or battery energy storage capacity via 100% equity purchase agreements, with projects required to reach commercial operation by December 15, 2029 and interconnect to PJM or APCo's distribution system in the PJM footprint—Virginia and West Virginia sites preferred. Completed and development-stage projects qualify; PJM-interconnected wind and solar must be at least 50 MW, battery storage at least 10 MW, and APCo distribution-connected projects at least 10 MW. PJM Transition Cycle #2 projects are excluded.
