2025 ELL BESS RFP

Entergy Louisiana, LLC (ELL) is conducting a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) resources. This RFP seeks qualified bidders to develop, construct, and operate battery energy storage systems that will support ELL's generation portfolio and grid reliability objectives.

The 2025 ELL BESS RFP represents a competitive solicitation process designed to identify cost-effective battery storage solutions. Bidders must complete and submit a Bidder Registration Form and Agreement to participate in the RFP process. The registration process will open at 8:00 a.m. Central Prevailing Time (CPT) on March 17, 2026 and will close at 5:00 p.m. CPT on March 23, 2026. Bidders are encouraged to review all final RFP documents prior to registration, including detailed technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms found in the RFP document package.

Questions regarding the RFP may be submitted to the Bid Event Coordinator during the Bidder Registration Period. All participants should thoroughly review Section 6.2 of the main RFP body before submitting inquiries. Final RFP documents, redline versions showing changes from draft documents, and additional reference materials are available on the dedicated RFP website. ELL conducted a comment period on draft RFP documents, and all revisions resulting from stakeholder feedback have been incorporated into the final versions.
