PacifiCorp is seeking resources aligned with the 2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) preferred portfolio that can achieve commercial operations by the end of December 2029. The 2025 IRP calls for 1,570 megawatts of utility scale solar resources, 1,400 megawatts of utility-scale wind resources, 320 megawatts of small-scale solar resources, 509 megawatts of lithium-ion batteries with four-hour duration, and 272 megawatts of iron-air storage with 100-hour duration by the end of 2029. PacifiCorp's 2025 Oregon Situs RFP is seeking resources that are agnostic to both duration and technology type.
