Seminole Electric Cooperative, Inc. is soliciting proposals for existing and/or new gas-fired generation and energy storage projects. Seminole will consider both short-term and long-term proposals up to 1,500 MW of firm capacity to meet its planning requirement beginning approximately in 2033. Technologies include conventional gas-fired generation resources (Combined Cycles, Combustion Turbines, Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines), Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Solar + Battery Energy Storage Systems. RFP issued December 3, 2025. Submit NDA & Bidder Pre-Qualification Form by February 13, 2026. Submit all questions by February 20, 2026. Bid proposals due March 2, 2026. Shortlist selected Third Quarter 2026. Addendum No. 1 issued on 12/19/2025 to accept Solar + Battery Energy Storage Systems as an acceptable technology type.
