Appalachian Power (APCo) is seeking up to 800 MW of wind and/or solar generation resources via one or more purchase and sale agreements (PSAs) for the purchase of 100% equity interest in a project company. All projects must conform to the requirements in the Virginia Environmental Justice Act.
Proposal submission deadline is July 15, 2026. The RFP was issued on May 26, 2026. Questions may be submitted to APCo2026RFP@aep.com, with Q&A compiled and posted on a weekly basis. Detailed evaluation criteria and submission instructions are contained in the formal RFP document.
