203577 - CETR – Namao Engineering Design Services

EPCOR is seeking a Successful Proponent to provide engineering design services for a yard expansion at Namao Substation, located at 12715-101 Street in Edmonton, Alberta. The project involves detailed design of electrical, structural, and civil works to replace two 72kV lines and reconfigure existing 72kV circuit connections, including the addition of a new 72kV dead-tank breaker. The yard expansion will include extension of the ground grid and addition or rebuilding of new gantries. Protection and Controls (P&C), SCADA, and telecom work are explicitly excluded from this scope.

The consultant will be responsible for developing both Issued-for-Tender (IFT) and Issued-for-Construction (IFC) packages. Additional deliverables include construction scope-of-work development, material specifications, and procurement support. Construction phase support is required, including approval of shop drawings, concrete mix designs, slump tests, and other construction-related approvals. Close coordination with EPCOR groups and other consultants is mandatory throughout the engagement.

Key dates include a question deadline of May 27, 2026 at 2:01 PM MDT and a bid closing date of June 9, 2026 at 2:01:59 PM MDT. The contract duration is 36 months. Addenda have been issued as of May 29, 2026. Online submission only is required through the bids platform.
