EPCOR is soliciting services to determine the actual accumulated volume of biosolids contained in Lagoon Cell 5 and estimate the nutrient content of the solids in each layer at the Clover Bar facility. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment to obtain approximately 12 to 18 core samples (maximum) for testing by EPCOR's lab facility.
The work scope includes soil sample extraction up to the clay liner depth at an estimated depth of 60 feet. The contractor is explicitly required not to drill past the clay liner and proposed bedrock in Cell 5. All extracted samples will be provided to EPCOR for laboratory analysis to determine nutrient content and biosolids accumulation.
Key dates for this solicitation include a mandatory site visit on April 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM (Edmonton time) at 250 Aurum Road, Edmonton, AB T6S 1G9. The question deadline is April 24, 2026 at 12:00 PM (MDT). Proposals must be submitted online by May 7, 2026 at 2:00:59 PM (MDT). RSVP for the site visit is required by April 20, 2026 at noon (Edmonton time).
