25-0088 Freiheit Control House and Breaker Additions

This project involves the procurement and installation of equipment and infrastructure upgrades at the Freiheit substation. The scope includes procuring a prefabricated control house, procuring and installing new relay panels, and installing a new SCADA panel and communications panel. The project also encompasses installation of three feeder breakers and two tie breakers, one vertical arc break switch, installation of a prefabricated cable trough with three underground feeder exits, and replacement of buswork and switches in multiple distribution bays. All work is designed by SEnergy and includes all appurtenances necessary to complete the project.

Key dates include a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for August 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM, a questions and answers deadline of September 18, 2025 at 9:00 PM, and a proposal submission deadline of September 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM. The project documentation includes protection and controls design drawings, technical specifications, and electrical and structural design drawings.

Proposals must be submitted through the procurement portal. All documentation is available for review, including the final RFP, protection and controls design drawings dated January 27, 2025, technical specifications dated July 14, 2025, and electrical and structural design drawings dated July 18, 2025.
