34.5-12.47 kV Power Transformer

The City of Naperville Public Utilities Department seeks qualified vendors to design, manufacture, supply, factory test, deliver, install, and commission two (2) 34.5-12.47 kV Power Transformers for the Chicago Substation in Naperville, Illinois. The transformers must be complete with all accessories required for safe, efficient, and convenient operation within the specification scope. Transformers must be manufactured in the United States. The vendor's responsibilities include factory testing, delivery to the substation, placement on the company's foundation, dressing out, filling with oil, field testing, and providing installation supervision throughout the commissioning process.

Key Dates: Pre-proposal conference scheduled for June 8, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Questions and answers deadline is June 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Proposal submission deadline is June 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

Technical Specifications: The bid documents include detailed technical data specifications for 34 kV transformers, transformer bid sheets, and technical datasheets. Bidders must comply with all requirements outlined in the specifications including bushings, arrester testing equipment, and distribution power transformer standards.
