Air Intake Filters for Gas Turbines

Pasadena Water and Power (PWP), a department of the City of Pasadena, is soliciting qualified vendors to supply air intake filters for Gas Turbines GT-3 and GT-4 LM6000 simple cycle gas units at the Glenarm Power Plant. The contract shall be for a 3-year term and includes services to support ongoing operation of these essential gas turbine components. The Glenarm Power Plant consists of five natural gas-fired combustion turbine units: GT-1 and GT-2 are 1970s-era Curtiss-Wright simple cycle units rated at 26 MW each; GT-3 and GT-4 are GE LM6000 simple cycle units with 47 MW capacity each; and GT-5 is a combined cycle unit with a GE LM6000 gas turbine and Shin Nippon Steam Turbine with 71 MW total combined capacity. These units primarily provide power generation during peak demand periods.

Key dates include a Q&A deadline of January 21, 2026 at 10:00 PM and a proposal submission deadline of February 3, 2026 at 10:00 PM. Vendors must submit proposals with pricing, technical qualifications, and compliance documentation including federal certifications, relevant experience forms, and IT security questionnaires. The City requires proof of insurance, compliance with federal contract provisions, and submission of all mandatory forms identified in the procurement package.
