Annual Provision of Miscellaneous Water and Waste Water Materials

Gainesville Regional Utilities (GRU) is soliciting vendors for the annual provision of miscellaneous pipe, valve, and fittings, and appurtenances for water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and natural gas systems. The solicitation seeks to establish a mutually agreed upon contract with awarded vendor(s) for an initial term of three (3) years with an option for a two (2) year renewal. GRU is a multi-service utility owned by the City of Gainesville and the 5th largest municipal electric utility in Florida, serving approximately 93,000 retail and wholesale customers across electric, natural gas, water, wastewater, and telecommunications services.

The scope of work encompasses the provision of materials as outlined in the attached Water and Wastewater Material Standards and Gas Materials Manual Index documents. Vendors must comply with all technical specifications and material standards established by GRU. The procurement process includes a Q&A deadline of June 14, 2024 at 9:00 PM and a proposal submission deadline of July 9, 2024 at 6:00 PM. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the detailed instructions provided in the solicitation documents.

Evaluation of proposals will be conducted according to established criteria outlined in the solicitation. The contract will include standard terms and conditions as well as supplemental and federal supplemental conditions detailed in the solicitation package.
