ANNUAL SUPPLY OF GALVANIZED STEEL TRANSMISSION POLES

The City of Lakeland is soliciting bids for the annual supply and delivery of galvanized steel transmission poles. The poles shall have a neat and pleasing appearance, with shafts that are tapered in either one-piece or multi-piece sections featuring a circular or twelve-sided shape. This solicitation will result in a three-year contract with an option for two additional one-year renewals upon mutual consent. Materials will be furnished on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term.

The scope of work encompasses furnishing poles that meet detailed specifications outlined in the attached technical documents, including EDEN-521 standards for galvanized steel distribution and transmission poles (July 2016). Vendors must comply with all insurance and safety requirements, including completion of a Contractor Safety Evaluation Form and annual audit documentation.
