Annual Supply of Pebble Lime

The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Department seeks qualified vendors to furnish and deliver pebble lime (NSF60 approved) on a continuous basis to support operations at the T. B. Williams and C. W. Combee Water Treatment Plants. The estimated annual quantity requirement is approximately 1,950 tons, delivered FOB with freight included. This is an estimated quantity for bidding purposes only and does not represent a guaranteed purchase volume. All bids and resulting purchase orders must comply with the City of Lakeland Specifications C.O.L.-ASOPL-23 and all applicable codes, requirements, and regulations referenced therein.

Bidders must submit pricing proposals that include the unit price per ton for pebble lime supply and delivery. The procurement process includes a questions and answers deadline of September 17, 2024 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time, with all bids due by September 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. The selected vendor must meet all insurance and safety requirements as outlined in the bid documents, including completion of the Contractor Safety Evaluation Form.

Reference pricing data from a previous bid tabulation dated September 2023 is available for vendor review.
