Annual Traffic Control for Lakeland Electric

The City of Lakeland seeks a qualified and experienced contractor to provide turnkey traffic control services for Lakeland Electric operations. The contractor will assist with road closures and protect the public from work performed by Lakeland Electric. The scope includes approximately 10,000 hours of traffic control setup and flagging services annually. All employees must be ATSSA licensed, certified, and licensed in the State of Florida. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, proper personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and equipment necessary to maintain proper control of traffic.

Key dates for this solicitation include a Q&A deadline of August 21, 2023 at 21:00 (9:00 PM). The proposal submission deadline is August 28, 2023 at 18:30 (6:30 PM). Bids submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.

The contractor must comply with comprehensive insurance and safety requirements, including FDOT indemnification provisions for consultants and contractors.
