ASBESTOS REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL AT THE SILAS RAY POWER PLANT UNIT 5

This proposal concerns the removal and disposal of asbestos materials at Unit 5 of the Silas Ray Power Plant, a facility operated by Brownsville Public Utilities Board (BPUB). The project scope includes the identification, containment, removal, and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials in compliance with applicable environmental and occupational safety regulations.

The RFP was initially published on May 9, 2022, and has since been closed. Four addenda were issued during the bidding period to provide clarifications and updates to the original solicitation documents. Prospective contractors were required to review all addendum materials in addition to the base RFP documents.
