B268 Replace STUS Backup Generator

This Design-Build project at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, requires the complete replacement of the emergency backup generator serving the Simulator Training Facility (Building 268). The project also includes furnishing and installing a new Johnson Controls field controller capable of monitoring ATS position, fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and amperage, with connection to the existing Johnson Controls Metasys panel. The contractor must perform initial generator start-up and testing per manufacturer instructions, provide fuel for testing and a full tank upon completion, and provide a standard manufacturer warranty.

The building will not be occupied during construction, but outages must be coordinated in advance; after-hours work may be required.
