BB1 and RH2 PLC Upgrades

This project addresses operational inefficiencies caused by outdated and obsolete Schneider Electric PLCs (Quantum/Premium models) at two pump stations operated by the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD). The upgrade will replace these legacy systems with the latest Schneider Electric PLC Model M580 to improve operational capabilities and system reliability. The scope covers PLC upgrades at Benbrook Lake Pump Station (BB1), located at 8001 Lakeside Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76132, and Rolling Hills Booster Pump Station (RH2), located at 5755 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76140.

The project is planned in two phases (Phase A and Phase B) to accommodate schedule constraints within TRWD's pipeline operations. The proposed solution must address the technical requirements for upgrading from legacy PLC platforms to modern automation infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity at these critical water utility facilities.

Key dates for this solicitation include: Pre-Proposal Meeting on April 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM; Q&A Deadline on April 26, 2024 at 10:00 PM; and Proposal Submission Deadline on May 2, 2024 at 9:00 PM.
