The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) issued Decision (D.) 15-09-004, which approved, as modified, the BioMAT Tariff and Contract implementing SB 1122 approved in D.14-12-081. Southern California Edison (SCE) will begin accepting applications for the BioMAT program, which appears to be related to bioenergy and renewable power generation through a feed-in tariff mechanism. The program implements Senate Bill 1122 (SB 1122) requirements for renewable energy procurement.
