Caterpillar CG170 generator E50 preventative maintenance

The City of Saint Petersburg seeks a qualified contractor to perform preventative maintenance on a Caterpillar CG170-16 1560 KW biogas generator located at the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility. The generator supplies power to the facility and requires specialized maintenance performed according to the Caterpillar E-10 through E-50 maintenance schedule provided in the project attachments.

The selected contractor must meet specific qualifications and requirements. Contractor must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and current certification working on biogas generators. The contractor must be Caterpillar MWM certified with the required dongle to access the programmable logic controller (PLC) to perform the required maintenance work. Only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts and approved oil can be used on this project; no substitutes are permitted.

The maintenance scope is detailed in the attached Caterpillar E-10 through E-50 maintenance schedule documentation. The contractor must perform all required preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with this manufacturer schedule. Proposal responses are due by April 23, 2024 at 7:01 PM EST.
