CC Dam Relief Well System - Video Inspection & Pump Testing

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) seeks qualified contractors to perform video inspection and pump testing services on the relief well and drainage collection system associated with the Joe B. Hogsett Dam at Cedar Creek Reservoir. The system consists of 76 relief wells with related discharge pipes and control ball valves positioned along the dam's downstream toe berm. The relief well network is divided into two sections by two pump stations: the west section contains 44 wells (numbered 101 through 139, with additional intermediate wells 131.5, 132.5, 133.5, 134.5, 135.5), and the east section contains 32 wells (numbered 140 through 171). Relief well depths range from 50 to 65 feet, with static water depths varying from 2 to 23 feet. Each relief well is equipped with a concrete pad and manhole cover.

The scope of work includes comprehensive video inspection of all relief well systems and performance testing of associated pump stations. Contractors must provide detailed documentation of their inspection findings and testing results. Work must comply with all applicable engineering standards and TRWD specifications as outlined in the solicitation documents and reference plans provided. The contractor is responsible for developing a detailed work plan, equipment specifications, and scheduling coordination with TRWD maintenance personnel.
