Charge Ready NY 2.0

Charge Ready NY 2.0 is an incentive program that provides funding for the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment. The program offers $3,000 per charging port installed at workplace or multi-unit dwelling (MUD) locations, and $4,000 per charging port installed within a Disadvantaged Community (DAC). Completion of the installation of charging equipment and the provision of appropriate documentation are required for incentive payment. Equipment Owners at workplace or MUD locations may choose to take actions that further promote EVs with their employees and residents to receive additional incentives beyond the base funding. Both public and private entities (for-profit and not-for-profit organizations) are eligible to participate in the program. Applicants can be either the Equipment Owners or the Installers acting on behalf of the Equipment Owners. The program includes comprehensive rules, procedures, and maintains current lists of eligible EV charging equipment and network providers.
