City Hall & WWTP Generator

The City of Kyle is soliciting sealed bids for the City Hall and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Generator Project. Bids will be received through the OpenGov Procurement Portal until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. Any proposals received after the deadline will be rejected.

Bidders must submit bids on the provided Bid Form and include bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in a penal sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The security must be made payable to the City of Kyle. No fax submissions or late submissions will be accepted. Bidders should thoroughly examine all plans, specifications, and bidding documents, and visit the project site to understand all conditions affecting the work and costs.

Questions regarding the specifications or discrepancies in bidding documents must be submitted to the authorized contact no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026. The Q&A deadline is May 4, 2026 at 10:00 PM. Time of substantial completion is set at 300 days. A pre-bid conference is planned but details are to be determined; attendance is optional and meeting minutes will not be issued.

Contractors must comply with all applicable state statutes including wage and hour provisions, contract regulations, and Equal Employment Opportunity laws. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Bids may be held for up to 30 days from opening for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. The Notice of Award will be issued within sixty (60) days of bid opening, and no bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after opening.
