Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is planning to centralize its data warehousing, data analytics, and reporting needs by integrating its existing data systems into a central repository hosted in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to be referred to internally as RADaR (Repository for Analytics, Data, and Reporting). SVCE seeks an implementation partner to assist in building out a consolidated data infrastructure in GCP to combine data from the demand- and supply-sides of its business, offer a single source of truth, enhance analytics and reporting, and set organization-wide standards for documentation, version control, user permissions, and data security. The implementation partner will configure Google Cloud components, develop ETL code, design and develop BigQuery tables, provide documentation, implement version control, and train users, with an emphasis on collaboration and co-development with SVCE staff. The work is divided into two tasks: Task 1 (Implementation) and Task 2 (Optional: Ongoing Services). For Task 1, bidders may propose up to three work plan options: Standard (complete by November 2025), Accelerated (complete before November 2025), or Phased (soft launch by November 2025, full launch later). The project will integrate SVCE's existing demand-side data platform (DAISY) with new supply-side data architecture and create a core data warehouse for cross-functional analytics.
