PG&E is issuing the C&S Code Readiness Subprogram RFP in compliance with CPUC D.18-05-041. This solicitation seeks proposals from third-party implementers with subject matter expertise in State and National Building and Appliance C&S processes to implement the Code Readiness Subprogram activities to support the C&S Program. The RFP objective is to solicit innovative Proposals from Bidders to increase the likelihood that selected measures, technologies or practices will be adopted into code, readily achieve a high market adoption rate, and ultimately yield the anticipated more efficient energy performance or savings. Proposals must demonstrate Bidders' understanding of the C&S Program's required building and appliance efficiency and decarbonization activities at the federal, state, and local levels. Proposals must articulate a vision of how the Code Readiness Subprogram activities will support and accelerate the advancement of measures and technologies to enhance code and widespread market adoption.
