Collection Services for Utility and Fire Department Accounts

The City of Georgetown is seeking qualified respondents to provide professional collection services for utility and fire department accounts owed to the City. This Request for Proposal solicits comprehensive collection services that will handle past-due accounts for both the City's utility and fire department. The scope includes managing the collection process for outstanding municipal utility and fire department fees and charges.

Proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's E-bid system at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx on or before May 19, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Time. Sealed proposals will be opened immediately upon the deadline and read aloud during a public closing conducted via Microsoft Teams teleconference with the meeting link and call-in information provided in the solicitation documents.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on April 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM Central Time via Microsoft Teams to allow potential respondents to ask questions and clarify requirements. The meeting link and call-in information are identical to those provided for the public closing. Any questions and answers addressed during this conference meeting will be issued in an addendum and posted on the City's website. The deadline for submitting questions is May 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central Time.
