Collection Services for Utility and Fire Department Accounts

The City of Georgetown is seeking sealed proposals from qualified respondents to provide professional collection services for utility and fire department accounts owed to the City. This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits comprehensive collection services that will include pursuing past-due amounts from both utility and fire department accounts through professional debt collection methodologies.

Proposals must be electronically submitted through the City's E-bid system accessible at https://gtowntx.ionwave.net/Login.aspx on or before May 26, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Time (deadline has been extended from the original May 19, 2026 date via Addendum No. 1). Sealed proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the submission deadline via a teleconference meeting conducted through Microsoft Teams. The meeting link and dial-in information are provided in the bid documents.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on April 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM Central Time via Microsoft Teams to allow prospective respondents to ask questions and clarify requirements. Any questions and answers addressed during this meeting will be documented in an addendum and posted on the City's website. The deadline for submitting written questions is May 12, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central Time.
