COMBEE WATER TREATMENT PLANT REROOF

The City of Lakeland is soliciting bids from qualified and experienced roofing contractors to provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and administration for a complete reroofing project at the Combee Water Treatment Plant located at 2450 Old Combee Road, Lakeland, Florida 33805. The project encompasses four separate roof areas requiring independent pricing to enable possible phased implementation: A1 (Main building large roof), A2 (Main building small roof), B1 (Secondary building closest to main building), and C1 (smallest building next to B1).

Key dates for this invitation to bid include a pre-proposal meeting scheduled for July 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM, a questions and answers deadline of July 21, 2023 at 9:00 PM, and a proposal submission deadline of August 3, 2023 at 7:00 PM. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the included scope of work, general provisions, insurance and safety requirements, and other specifications outlined in the project documents.

Contractors must comply with all insurance and safety requirements as specified in the bid documents, including completion of the Contractor Safety Evaluation Form and PSM Contractor Annual Audit Form. Vendors are required to provide indemnification agreements and respond to all sections including Notice to Bidders, Introduction, Scope of Work, General Provisions, Insurance and Safety Requirements, Specification of Safety and Occupational Health, Vendor Questionnaire, and Pricing Proposal. All supporting documentation and attachments must be reviewed prior to bid submission.
