ComEd Energy Efficiency Program Retro-Commissioning Offering RFQ

ComEd Energy Efficiency Program is seeking qualified engineering firms to join a closed network of Service Providers to deliver Retro-Commissioning (RCx) services. Service Providers will conduct RCx studies for eligible commercial facilities over 50,000 square feet in size with peak demand over 100 kW, including commercial office, healthcare, retail, hospitality, lodging, and public buildings. Service Providers will be compensated for RCx studies with the goal of supporting customer implementation of cost-effective energy savings measures.

Retro-Commissioning is defined as building assessments and studies that result in the implementation of low-cost operational measures such as scheduling equipment, optimization of economizer and outdoor air controls, chilled water temperature resets, and other measures that create annual energy savings and reduced peak demand.

Eligibility Requirements: Firms must demonstrate expertise in RCx, provide samples of thorough RCx reports and calculations from recent successful projects, have dedicated resources for business development in ComEd territory, and maintain good standing with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Key Dates: Interested parties must submit the Service Provider Interest form by May 28, 2026. The formal RFQ will be released on Monday, June 1, 2026. Service Providers should respond via the ComEd RCx offering Service Provider Interest form available at eeserviceproviders.com/rcx-network-interest.
