Commercialization Voucher

NYSERDA seeks Implementation Managers to serve as Program Implementors supporting climate technology startups through redeemable vouchers that fund predefined services provided by eligible service providers. The program operates across four Topic Areas with specific funding allocations: Lab Demo ($1.365M), Manufacturing Support ($3.41M), Certification and Validation Guidance ($500K), and Regulatory and Permitting Guidance ($500K). NYSERDA has a total predefined availability of $5,775,000.00 in funding to award to organizations willing to serve as Program Implementors, with one proposer selected per Topic Area.

Eligible proposers must demonstrate strong program oversight and management capabilities, with equitable or primary benefits directed to New York State Disadvantaged Communities (DACs). Eligible entity types include for-profit corporations, non-profit organizations, academic institutions, research organizations, individuals, government agencies, and municipal utilities. Proposers must also secure minimum cost share contributions in the four Topic Areas as specified.

Round 1 submission deadline is June 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. ET through NYSERDA's online portal. An informational webinar will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET to provide details on solicitation requirements, project requirements, and the application process.
