Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) seeks vendors to provide community outreach services in two main function areas: 1) All-electric mobile demonstration home setup and event management, and 2) General in-person outreach support. The mobile demonstration home is intended to be an engagement and education tool for SVCE's diverse community of customers throughout the service territory. SVCE staff plan to bring the demonstration home to various local festivals, celebrations, resource fairs, and more to provide customers with a chance to interact with electric technology and learn about its advantages over gas appliances. For the first function, the selected vendor will transport, operate, and stage the mobile demonstration home and agency vehicle to optimize customer engagement, including: transporting the mobile home to/from storage facility to events, assembling and staging the mobile home/agency vehicle, ensuring ADA compliance and safety standards, and conducting maintenance and safety checks. For the second function, the vendor will support SVCE's outreach efforts with additional in-person support, including: supporting community tabling events, distributing collateral and swag, answering questions about SVCE's services, tracking customer interactions, and providing post-event summaries. Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese) are highly desired. The vendor will work with SVCE to support a list of tentative events throughout Santa Clara County.
