Concrete and Steel Street Light Poles

The City of Denton is soliciting proposals for the supply of concrete and steel street light poles. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking submissions from qualified vendors with considerable experience in providing these goods and services. Respondents may submit proposals for one or more product or service categories included in this solicitation.

The successful vendor shall demonstrate a proven track record of using innovative approaches and providing solutions that represent the best value to clients. The selected vendor must possess the ability to accomplish all aspects of the requested services and provide innovative methods to address municipal challenges with cost-effective solutions. The City is open to considering interlocal cooperative agreements and state/federal contracts in determining the best value for the entity.

Submissions must be sealed and submitted via IONWAVE or hard copy only; email submissions are not accepted. Vendors are strongly advised not to wait until minutes before the deadline to submit, as the submittal process may take significant time. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by July 6, 2026 at 5:00 PM CT via IONWAVE only (no emails or phone calls permitted).

Required documentation includes completion of a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire. The City has provided a sample contract, detailed technical specifications for concrete poles, manufacturing drawings for 35-foot metal poles, a Scope of Work (SOW), and the COD Criteria Manual for evaluation purposes.
