Crane Rental On-Call Services - Master Agreement

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department (APU) is soliciting proposals from qualified respondents to establish master agreements for on-call crane rental services. APU provides electric and water service to approximately 360,000 residents and 15,000 businesses in Anaheim. The primary objective is to establish partnerships with firms that provide rental cranes of various lifting capacities, equipped with qualified operational crews.

Proposers must demonstrate service reliability, availability, and a strong safety record. Suppliers must meet minimum qualifications and comply with the Scope of Work and Specifications outlined in this RFP. The successful respondent(s) will demonstrate service reliability, availability, a strong safety record, and the ability to deliver services within agreed-upon timelines. The City reserves the right to make awards to multiple respondents if determined to be in the best interest of the City.

Key Dates: Q&A Deadline is July 23, 2025 at 9:00 PM. Proposal submissions are due no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Selected respondent(s) will negotiate an agreement substantially conforming to the Model Contract (Attachment A), with the contract taking effect upon execution by both parties.

The City does not commit to a specific purchase quantity during the agreement term. Estimated quantities are provided for a one-year period. The City reserves the right to add, change, or delete items as needed.
