Current Transformers - Master Agreement

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is issuing a Request for Proposal to establish a Master Agreement for the procurement of Current Transformers. The agreement will be for an initial one-year term with four optional annual renewals. The City seeks to establish long-term partnerships with qualified suppliers capable of providing current transformers that meet specified technical requirements.

Specifications include GEC Durham Industries Bar type transformers with 600:5 ratio and GEC Durham Industries Window type transformers with 2000:5 ratio. Suppliers must be authorized distributors and meet all minimum qualifications, terms, and conditions outlined in the RFP. The line-item pricing provided is an annual quantity estimation for bulk discount purposes only and does not guarantee any specific order volume. The City reserves the right to add, change, or delete items and does not commit to purchasing specific quantities during the agreement term.

Key deadlines include a Questions and Answers deadline of September 24, 2025 at 9:00 PM and a Proposal submission deadline of October 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM. The City may make awards to multiple respondents if determined to be in the City's best interest. After selection, a successful respondent will negotiate a final agreement substantially conforming to the attached Model Contract.
