Dechlor Improvements: Arlington and Benbrook

The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is requesting proposals for construction of de-chlorination facility improvements at two locations: Arlington Outlet and Benbrook. The project scope includes comprehensive upgrades to chemical feed systems, control equipment, and facility infrastructure at both sites.

Arlington Outlet De-chlorination Facility improvements include demolition and replacement of chemical feed process piping and associated equipment, replacement of electrical and instrumentation/controls equipment, improvements to sampling and injection yard piping, addition of a cover over the existing chemical storage containment enclosure, and construction of a new building for District chemical monitoring equipment and lavatory facilities.

Benbrook De-chlorination Facility improvements include demolition of existing process piping and tank pedestal, and addition of new chemical feed process piping and associated equipment. The project budget is $4,730,000. Technical documentation includes geotechnical reports, test hole information, record drawings, and complete construction plans and specifications. Diverse Business Participation requirements are included in the solicitation documents.
