Deerhaven Renewable (DHR) Manufacture Fabric Filter Bags

This solicitation seeks qualified vendors to manufacture and supply 7,200 fabric filter bags for the Deerhaven Renewable (DHR) facility's baghouse system. The DHR is a 102 megawatt (MW) wood-fired biomass steam-electric generating unit located in Alachua County, Florida, north of Gainesville on U.S. Highway 441. The facility operates a woody biomass-fired bubbling fluidized bed boiler with steam turbine generator, utilizing natural gas as a startup fuel. The boiler exhaust system includes a selective catalyst reduction system, a pulse jet fabric filter (PJFF) baghouse with 20 compartments, an induced draft fan, and an exhaust stack.

The fabric filter bags are critical components essential for proper baghouse operation and maintaining peak performance. Replacement of these bags ensures continued compliance with federal air quality and regulatory requirements. The project requires procurement of bags designed to meet the specific specifications outlined in Exhibit A - Filter Bag Design and Exhibit B - Fabric Filter Cage Design. Vendors must provide bags compatible with all 20 compartments of the DHR Baghouse system.
