Request for Proposal seeking a vendor to provide software and related support services for customers enrolled in the Cape Light Compact's Demand Response (DR) Demonstration Offering. The vendor must provide both web-based and mobile software products that integrate with WiFi-enabled thermostats (including currently-installed devices and Honeywell Lyric Round Second Generation thermostats) to allow participants to control thermostat settings. The vendor must develop a web-based demand response platform that enables the Compact to set up and trigger demand response events adjusting participant thermostat set points during curtailment events (with participant override capability), view current and historical thermostat setting data, and send alerts to participants via email and text message prior to demand response events. The vendor must work with the Compact to confirm scope, schedule, and data interchange requirements; coordinate with independent evaluation, monitoring & verification (EM&V) staff; provide innovative and engaging user-friendly products; provide technical specifications for all web and mobile applications; have lead responsibility for confirming customer participation and managing ongoing service/support; integrate with Cape Light Compact brand identity and website; and assist the Compact in responding to regulatory information requests. The Compact will serve both currently-enrolled DRDO participants (approximately 40) and participants enrolled in 2017 and potentially beyond if the contract is extended. The initial term is for calendar year 2017 with an option to renew for five one-year terms.
