Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Request for Information

Puget Sound Energy is surveying distributed energy resources—battery storage, rooftop solar, demand response, microgrids, and EV charging—across its service territory to design a targeted procurement strategy. The RFI seeks vendor input on technical capabilities, cost structures, and deployment timelines to inform a follow-on RFP that will likely drive material procurement volume. Vendors with operational DER systems in the Pacific Northwest or experience integrating distributed assets into utility networks have a direct path to influence scope and positioning ahead of formal bidding.
