Distributed Energy Resources - Wind Renewable Energy

The City of Pasadena Water & Power Department is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders on emerging new technologies related to distributed energy resource (DER) wind energy generation. This RFI is purely informational and intended for planning and strategy development purposes, and does not constitute an official offer to enter into a contractual agreement or a promise to issue a competitive solicitation in the future.

The City of Pasadena is pursuing carbon-free electricity goals and seeks to gather information about new and emerging wind energy technologies within the distributed energy resources sector. Responses provided will be reviewed by the city for further investigation and inquiry to inform future strategic planning initiatives.
