Ductile Iron Pipe and Accessories

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is soliciting sealed responses for the provision of Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) and accessories to support maintenance and repair operations of its water and sewer infrastructure. WSSC is a bi-county agency serving Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland, maintaining approximately 5,600 miles of freshwater pipeline and more than 5,400 miles of sewer pipeline. Over the past two years, WSSC has required approximately 1,625 iron pipes and accessories in varying sizes for infrastructure maintenance.

The contractor will be required to provide Ductile Iron Pipe and related accessories per specifications outlined in the solicitation. Responses must be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater. Sealed responses must be received prior to 2:00 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted. The Q&A deadline for questions is January 6, 2026 at 7:00 pm Eastern Time.

Minimum qualifications, insurance requirements, bond requirements, and evaluation factors are specified in the full solicitation documents. Firms are required to comply with WSSC's Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) programs as applicable. The pricing proposal, vendor questionnaire, and all technical specifications are detailed in the attached documents, including the DIP Task Order Form and DIP Specifications.

Proposals will be evaluated based on stated evaluation factors outlined in the solicitation. All submissions must comply with General Conditions for Goods and Services, Special Conditions, and any applicable cooperative purchasing clauses referenced in the solicitation materials.
