Electric Resources Rolling Request For Offers

Modesto Irrigation District (MID) is soliciting proposals through a rolling Electric Resources Request For Offers process to evaluate renewable energy and other clean, sustainable, and carbon-free resources. The solicitation seeks renewable energy generating resource offers ranging from 5 to 50 MW in size, and energy storage offers with a minimum size of 3 MW. This is an ongoing rolling solicitation with no fixed deadline, accepting proposals on a continuous basis until the position is filled.

Proposers must submit project applications using the provided Project Application form (Attachment 1). All submissions should be directed to the Resource Planning and Development (RPD) Procurement department. Detailed requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical specifications are outlined in the Electric Resources Request For Offers document.

Proposals will be evaluated based on their ability to meet MID's clean energy objectives, technical feasibility, economic viability, and alignment with the district's renewable energy goals. MID commits to non-discriminatory evaluation and selection processes in accordance with applicable civil rights protections.
