Electric Utility Relocation Project at Cerritos Ave and Douglas Rd

The City of Anaheim Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for the construction of an Electric Utility Relocation Project at the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Douglas Road. The project involves the removal of existing 12 kV overhead electrical distribution facilities and the installation of new underground substructures and associated equipment. This work is being coordinated in conjunction with the OCVIBE! development project and will require careful coordination with existing utility infrastructure.

The project scope includes demolition of overhead electrical systems, excavation and preparation for underground installation, placement of underground substructures, and installation of associated electrical equipment to modern standards. Contractors must comply with the Electrical Construction Standards Book (2022) and all applicable construction standards outlined in the contract documents.

Submission Requirements: Bidders must submit pricing proposals, complete vendor questionnaires, and acknowledge receipt of all contract documents including plans, specifications, and addenda.
