Electric Vehicle Charging at Civic Arts Plaza (CI 5708)

The City of Thousand Oaks is soliciting bids for the construction and installation of EV charging stations (EVSE) and associated infrastructure at the Civic Arts Plaza. The project scope includes installing 13 Level 2 fleet EV chargers with all necessary electrical distribution and associated electrical infrastructure. Work includes installation of required equipment, conduits/cabling, equipment supports, and site appurtenances, all in accordance with City-approved plans and specifications.

This project is driven by the City's fleet electrification transition initiative and will provide additional charging capacity to meet current and upcoming fleet vehicle charging needs across City facilities. The chargers will be located in the Civic Arts Plaza parking lot and designed to support municipal fleet vehicles.

Key submission dates include a Questions and Answers deadline of June 4, 2026, and a proposal submission deadline of June 10, 2026 at 10:30 PM. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the specifications outlined in Attachment A (CI 5708 Specs and Bid Doc), site plans provided in Attachment B (CI 5708 Plans), and photographs of relevant facility areas in Attachment C (Electrical Room and Mechanical Room Pictures).
