Electrical Cables and Wires

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities is soliciting proposals for the supply of electrical cables and wires to support utility distribution and transmission operations. The City intends to establish a three-year agreement with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods, providing a potential total contract duration of five years.

The solicitation includes procurement of multiple cable types and specifications for high-voltage transmission and distribution applications. Specifications include 15kV single conductor shielded ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulated cable with concentric neutral and polyethylene jacket (Specification E-141), as well as 69kV 2000KCMIL single conductor cables available in both crosslinked polyethylene insulated copper (Specification E-108) and ethylene-propylene rubber insulated aluminum conductor configurations (Specification E-147).
