Electrical Utility Transformers - Bid Extended

The City of Anaheim Public Utilities Department is soliciting proposals for the procurement of electrical utility transformers. The scope includes multiple transformer types and specifications: three-phase dead front pad-mounted distribution transformers (12.47 KV and 12-4 KV classes), single-phase dead front pad-mounted distribution transformers, single-phase overhead distribution transformers, single-phase subsurface underground residential distribution (URD) transformers, and 12.47 KV pad-mount capacitor banks with load break switches. Specifications are detailed in the attached documents (E-60, E-64, E-72, E-79, E-83, and E-144).

The preferred delivery date for these transformers is 40 months after contract execution. Proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM Pacific Time on Monday, January 20, 2025 (note: this deadline has been extended). A questions and answers deadline of December 11, 2024 at 10:00 PM Pacific Time was specified for proposal clarification.

Proposals must include completion of the Proposer Questionnaire, detailed pricing proposals, and compliance with all minimum qualifications for respondents. The evaluation and selection process will consider pricing, proposer qualifications, technical specifications compliance, and adherence to required contract provisions. All proposals must conform to the City of Anaheim Model Contract and include acceptance of required provisions.
