THIS IS NOT A COMPETITIVE BID This emergency procurement is per City of Gallup Procurement Code (Chapter 9, Section 1-9-17.B) and statutes (NMSA 1978, Section 13-1-127). Requesting Department/Office: Electric Product and/or services to be purchased: The City of Gallup, New Mexico, has determined that an emergency situation exists on the 115kV transmission line due to critical safety and operational concerns identified during a recent inspection: •Static Shoe on Pole NO. 13: The inspection has revealed that the static shoe on the pier foundation of Pole NO. 13 has become partially dislodged, with the shoe now being halfway out. This condition poses an immediate threat to the structural integrity of the transmission line, as the stability of the pole is compromised. Without immediate repair, the risk of further damage or collapse increases, potentially leading to power outages and safety hazards for nearby personnel and the public.
