Emergency Storm Response Services - Vegetation

GRU (Gainesville Regional Utilities) is seeking qualified vegetation contractors to provide emergency storm response services following severe weather events. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishes the roles and responsibilities of GRU and contracted vendors for rapid mobilization and response to storm-related damage and vegetation management needs.

The procurement is part of GRU's annual storm season preparation process, under which the utility pre-selects vendors to ensure rapid availability of services during emergency or exigency events. The contracted services include tree trimming, tree surgery, removal of ornamental plants/bushes/trees, and plant/ornamental tree spraying services as needed during and following severe weather incidents.
