Engineering services

This document presents a prequalification list for engineering services suppliers to support Manitoba Hydro and the Government of Manitoba. The list includes pre-qualified suppliers across multiple engineering and architectural disciplines, effective through December 31, 2024.

For Manitoba Hydro categories, no further inclusion is available; qualified suppliers are invited to participate on Requests for Service (RFS) as opportunities arise. For Government of Manitoba categories, interested suppliers should contact the Government of Manitoba directly. There is no limit on the number of qualified suppliers that may be included on the list.

Manioba Hydro categories cover specialized engineering services including HVDC design, weld engineering, metallurgical and post-failure analysis, corrosion consulting, vibration consulting and analysis, electric distribution engineering (general and underground residential), grounding, and NDT services. Government of Manitoba categories encompass architectural services, mechanical engineering, multidisciplinary engineering, environmental consulting (including environmental site assessments and general hydro-focused services), geotechnical engineering for design/construction support and structure foundations, electrical services (arc flash, generation services, and HV/EHV substation design), hydro-structural engineering, civil engineering with hydro focus, inspection services, and environmental management.

Approximately 80 pre-qualified suppliers are listed across both categories, including major firms such as AECOM Canada Ltd., SNC-Lavalin Inc., Stantec Consulting Ltd., WSP Canada Inc., Hatch Ltd., Morrison Hershfield Limited, and numerous specialized engineering and architectural firms. All documentation is available in accessible formats upon request.
